Physician assistant Jacqueline Carroll's favorite "specialty" product from the G.R.A.S.S regimen is Latisse! As you can see in this photo, Latisse dramatically increases the length, width, and darkness of your existing lashes.

Latisse is safe and 100 percent effective, but several myths about the product persist.

Does Latisse Change the Color of Blue Eyes?

When used correctly, there is no evidence that the treatment changes eye color. The active ingredient in the product was originally marketed as a treatment for glaucoma and applied directly into the eye. Delivered in this fashion, the drug did sometimes darken hazel eye colors. However, when applied to the lashes alone, this side effect has not been reported.

Will It Affect Eyesight or Cause Blindness?

The product will not cause blindness or any vision changes, even if it is accidentally applied directly into the eyes.

I had my eyes "done" by Dr. Kenneth White in August. He is a very experienced surgeon and I am very pleased with the results. Dr. White is a wonderful doctor. He explained every phase and what I could expect and I didn't have any pain afterwards. He is compassionate, caring and an expert in this. I would recommend him to all that wish to have this procedure done.

We still have our event going on today until 5:00pm with special pricing. Don't miss out on you! Free consultations all day.

#2 Consistency.

Dramatic results will not happen overnight. It can often take weeks of consistent use for noticeable results to happen. The key to seeing those changes is to stick to your skincare routine.

Schedule a complimentary consultation with one of our Medical Aestheticians, so we can help you get on the correct skin care routine. 910.509.SKIN

Does “I will try of little of this, and a little of that” sound like you? Do you jump from spa to spa, getting so many different opinions? Do you jump from one home product to the next? If this sounds like you are you happy with the results?
Just like our personalities, the skin has patterns of behavior, and if you understand the basics, you can take control and get get results that make the skin consistently better over time.

#1 The skin is on a one month cycle
You need to be doing something every month to stimulate those new cells and to get your collagen and metabolism going. Some home care products can do this, such as a retinoid cream, but for faster results, doing a laser treatment or a Peel, will do the trick to getting your skin to look younger over time, than older.

Could the makeup you are wearing be part of the problem? Jane Iredale can be the solution. Think about how long you keep your makeup on. Do you really know what you are putting on your skin? It may look pretty, but the result can be ugly.

Jane iredale was the cosmetic of choice because of its non-comedogenic effects. It’s free from parabens, phenoxyethanol and is low allergenic. In essence, it will not block the pores, and it allows the skin to breathe naturally. In addition to this, there is a low chance of having chemical or photo-sensitivities. Furthermore, it has an SPF factor. This is of great benefit, particularly when many patients are using medications that contain Vitamin A derivatives, and can have sensitivities to sunlight.

Schedule a complimentary Makeup consultation.
