Does “I will try of little of this, and a little of that” sound like you? Do you jump from spa to spa, getting so many different opinions? Do you jump from one home product to the next? If this sounds like you are you happy with the results?
Just like our personalities, the skin has patterns of behavior, and if you understand the basics, you can take control and get get results that make the skin consistently better over time.

#1 The skin is on a one month cycle
You need to be doing something every month to stimulate those new cells and to get your collagen and metabolism going. Some home care products can do this, such as a retinoid cream, but for faster results, doing a laser treatment or a Peel, will do the trick to getting your skin to look younger over time, than older.

Could the makeup you are wearing be part of the problem? Jane Iredale can be the solution. Think about how long you keep your makeup on. Do you really know what you are putting on your skin? It may look pretty, but the result can be ugly.

Jane iredale was the cosmetic of choice because of its non-comedogenic effects. It’s free from parabens, phenoxyethanol and is low allergenic. In essence, it will not block the pores, and it allows the skin to breathe naturally. In addition to this, there is a low chance of having chemical or photo-sensitivities. Furthermore, it has an SPF factor. This is of great benefit, particularly when many patients are using medications that contain Vitamin A derivatives, and can have sensitivities to sunlight.

Schedule a complimentary Makeup consultation.

Rachel is representing the letter "A" for antioxidants holding her favorite product.

"Antioxidants are especially important to anyone's skin care regimen! It's ideal for all skin types and all ages. They help protect the skin by preventing free radical damage and improving the appearance of skin tone and texture. Vitamin C & E complex is an amazing product with a silky texture which absorbs into the skin, leaving it silky soft with a powdery feel, and without leaving behind a greasy residue. You can also use this product as a foundation primer making pores look a bit smaller and the application of foundation much easier."

Sarah's Recommendation!

"Retinols are the first product I always recommend to my patients. This is the number 1 anti-aging product for your home care regimen".

"R" in GRASS represents products from our RETINOLS category.

The name for the entire vitamin A molecule. Retinol has value for skin on several fronts: it is a cell-communicating ingredient and antioxidant.
Retinols speeds up cell turnover, sweeps away the dead cells that cause dullness, and boosts collagen and elastin by stimulating cellular repair at the deepest level of the skin.
Pick a good "R" product, use it correctly, and get ready to watch the transformation!

What does GRASS have to do with your skin??

Use the "GRASS" Regimen to help take the guesswork out of choosing products for your skin care needs. Each letter (G, R, A, S and S) represents a product category.

"G" in GRASS represents products from our Growth Factors.

Growth Factor is a naturally occurring substance capable of stimulating cellular growth. They play an important role in maintaining healthy skin structure and function. As we age the growth factor levels in our bodies decrease. The consequence is skin damage and the visible signs of aging – fine lines, wrinkles, age spots, loss of elasticity and roughness.

Products that contain growth factors can help improve the appearance and health of the skin by evening out blotchiness, enhancing elasticity, minimizing surface roughness, and reducing fine lines and wrinkles.

Fill out the apples of your cheeks for a more youthful appearance, and big savings

As we age, we lose volume beneath the skin on our faces. Where we once had smooth, healthy-looking cheeks, we are left with flat or sunken areas that create wrinkles, making us look older than we feel. Voluma is an injectable dermal filler that can round out the sunken areas, restoring the apples of your cheeks and helping you look years younger. And Voluma’s remarkable results last up to two years.

For the month of September, when you buy one syringe of Voluma, you’ll receive the second one ½ OFF. These special deals expire at the end of September, so call 910-509-SKIN for an appointment today. It’s one of the smartest decisions you can make for your long-term skin care.

Call 910.509.SKIN for more details or SCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT.
