Additional Aesthetics Expert Joins Wilmington Plastic Surgery MedSpa Staff

Licensed aesthetician and laser technician Christine M. Lam has joined the staff of Wilmington Plastic Surgery’s Skin Care MedSpa, the only such facility in southeastern North Carolina that operates under the direction of four board-certified, fellowship-trained plastic surgeons.

Christine earned her undergraduate degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology, and her aesthetic license from Lia Schoor Institute in New York City. While working in upscale day spas for nearly a decade, Christine developed an interest in the medical side of aesthetic care, which led her to Wilmington Plastic Surgery in January 2014.
Specializing in the prevention and correction of sun-damaged skin using a combination of cosmetic treatments, Christine is certified on the Joule BBL (Broad Band Light) laser for photo-facial, acne and hair removal/ reduction treatments, as well as in chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and the medical product lines SkinMedica and Obagi. She has also received extensive training in Jane Iredale makeup artistry.
“Christine comes to us with outstanding experience, training, and references,” said Guy R. Williams, III, CMPE, practice administrator for Wilmington Plastic Surgery. “She displays a passion for staying up to date on the ever-evolving technologies and products in the medical aesthetics industry, which she then shares with her patients.”

“Although the procedures are unquestionably medical, I strive to give my patients a relaxing experience,” said Christine. “I also teach my patients about taking care of their skin at home, which can significantly prolong the results of their treatments. It’s my goal to use all available tools to help them achieve their best possible outcome.”
