Kybella® Non-Invasive Double Chin Treatment in Wilmington, NC
Kybella® is a minimally invasive, FDA-approved injectable treatment that works similarly to the deoxycholic acid created by your own body by absorbing fat. Deoxycholic Acid is a naturally occurring acid that helps allow the body to absorb fat, resulting in a more defined chin area, eliminating the unwanted fat cells, or “double chin”.
Kybella® targets and dissolves the fat cells, resulting in permanently destroyed fat cells and a more defined chin. A series of treatments may be needed for the desired results.
How Kybella® Works
At your Kybella® treatment appointment, your injector will thoroughly clean and prep the area by attaching a grid-like “stencil” to the area, indicating proper injection sites for optimal results. Kybella will be injected several times in small increments throughout the submental area.
Upon injection into the submental fat zone on the lower part of the jawline and chin, Kybella® starts working to eradicate those stubborn fat deposits that make your face appear bloated, puffy or chubby.
