What is EMFACE®?
EMFACE® is a non-invasive procedure that adds volume, tightens, and lifts various areas of the face for a more youthful appearance. Using patented technology, EMFACE® induces involuntary contractions and radio frequency, boosting collagen and elastin to sculpt and restore the facial structure.
EMFACE® treatments are done by treating two areas, several times, a few days apart, in which the attachments are placed on two of the 4 areas, commonly paired treatment areas such as: Forehead and Under eyes or Submentum and Cheeks.

What to expect during Your EmFace® treatments
For EmFace® procedures, patients lay down on a procedure chair for maximum comfort. Prior to an EmFace treatment, a provider will cleanse and prep the treatment area. All jewelry must be removed from the neck up and no metal may be present in the area above the neck (dental work is okay).
Sticky attachments are placed on the treatment area and attached to the EmFace machine – once treatment begins the patients can expect the treatment areas to get warm due to the radiofrequency technology. EmFace is not painful, however, minimal discomfort is expected due to involuntary muscle contractions that can cause the eyes to close, nose to scrunch, and more. Each EmFace treatment is X minutes – on average most patients require x treatments in an area to reach their desired results.
EmFace® Contraindications
- No metal in the body near the treatment area/from the neck up
- Dental work is okay.
- No Accutane in the last 12 months
- No surgery within the last 3 months (at a minimum – talk to your provider regarding treatment post-op)
- No nursing or pregnancy
